Phillip Gennarelli - Managing Partner
Mr. Gennarelli manages the day-to-day commercial activities of the Company. He has been active in sales, marketing, and business development activities for over thirty years. He was associated with BP Amoco, Unocal, Reliant/HL&P, Indeck Energy, Hadson Gas System and Kinder Morgan/Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL). In the mid '80s, he was selected by MidCon's Chairman to participate in theAmerican Gas Association's Loaned Executive Program. Based in AGA's Washington, DC headquarters, as AGA's Manager of Regulatory Affairs, hewas instrumental in testifying and representing the trade association before FERC, DOE, and Congress on several interstate natural gas pipeline open access initiatives (Order 436 et al) during the first Reagan Administration. He led several industry task forces that included interstate pipelines (INGAA), natural gas producers (NGSA), financial institutions and several public utility corporation staffs. He has managed fuel supply, transportation, trading, and development for several energy companies: Hadson Gas Systems, Amoco Energy Trading, and Indeck Energy.
He was Vice President Business Development for the international business units of Reliant/HL&P's Europe region and Unocal's Europe/Middle East regions. In 1991, after leading business teams in the creation of Amoco Energy Trading, the company's first integrated natural gas marketing business unit with over 4 BCFD of North American supply, he became the youngest officer of Amoco Corporation as VP of US Natural Gas Business Unit's Development group. The group's mandate was to expand the market for the use of natural gas further downstream of the wellhead. Working with the American Gas Association and regional natural gas transportation and distribution companies in the Northeast and Midwest USA, he led Amoco's first clean tech investments in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles. Later, he led business teams that resulted in the creation of Amoco Power, the company's first business unit in downstream infrastructure development.
Mr. Gennarelli received his Professional Engineer license in Illinois, an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University. Mr. Gennarelli is the co-founder and current President and CEO of Cavallo Energy LLC, a Houston-based energy development company. He is also the current President & CEO of CCH Holdings LLC and CCH Management LLC, the Project and Management companies for the Cross Hudson Cable Project.
